We invite abstract submissions for two upcoming congresses: the ESC (European Seismological Commission) to be held in Istanbul, Turkey in September 2026; and the Inqua (International Union for Quaternary research) to be held in Lucknow, India in January-February 2027.
ESC congress
Check here the list of sessions. Deadline for abstract submission is 15 March 2026. Fault2SHA is a working group recognized by ESC since 2016; the ESC congress is thus the perfect way to celebrate 10 years of Fault2SHA activity.
We draw your attention on Session 28, which is a Joint ESC/SSA Sponsored Session entitled “Fault2SHA, transform and strike-slip faults underfoot, from seismotectonics to seismic hazard and modeling”.

There are multiple sessions dealing with topics of potential interest for the Fault2SHA community. Among them, we draw your attention on Session 38 on the use of Quaternary sciences to understand sequences of geohazards and their interaction with infrastructure; and Session 69 on paleoseismology and fault displacement hazard characterization in onshore and offshore settings.
