Workshop: Hands on fault-based PSHA: data and approaches to build models
September 27 - September 30
The Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia announced the launch of the workshop “Hands on fault-based PSHA: data and approaches to build models”. The workshop will take place in Pisa (Italy) at Officine Garibaldi https://officinegaribaldi.it/wp/, from 27 to 30 September 2021. The objective of the workshop is to provide Researchers and PhD Students with a common understanding of fault-based probabilistic seismic hazard models. The concepts of fault and multi-fault ruptures models will be the key topics and the workshop will be arranged in talks and interactive hands-on sessions. WHY to PARTICIPATE
- EXCELLENT LECTURES focused on fault modeling for seismic hazard assessment: top-level experts from our Fault2SHA working group have confirmed their participation.
- HANDS-ON SESSIONS to guide participants in the building of fault-based models and throwing the entire fault-to-PSHA chain.
REGISTRATION & DEADLINE
