RAUGM – Mexico (2021)

A special session (SE04) titled “Central Mexico: Seismic Threat in the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt: Advances in neotectonics, paleoseismology, historical and instrumental seismicity” has been included in the Annual meeting of the Mexican Union of Geophysical Sciences (UGM), in Guadalajara, Mexico (and also online). It was co-coordinated by a Fault2SHA Ex-Com member, and focussed on the development of the IGCP669 UNESCO project that derives from the Fault2SHA intitiatives.  Link to the program  HERE

ESC- virtual in Corfù (2021)

The program and resolutions of the 37th General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission, are available HERE

The meeting initially planned in Corfù in 2020, was postponed to Sept 2021, and then held virtually. Oral and poster presentations for Session S14: Imaging and modeling 3D fault complexities in Fault2SHA are listed in the program.

A Fault2SHA training day was given on September 14th, 2021 by F. Visini and O. Scotti at the Young Seismologist Training Course of the ESC2021

virtual EGU (2020)

At the 2020 EGU meeting, a session entitled Seismic hazard based on paleoseismicity, active faulting and surface deformation data – the challenges of FAULT2SHA was convened in online mode only; about 30 contributions coming from all over the world were discussed through a chat. The session summary and presentations for displays are available HERE

About 110 people attended to this virtual conference, and the Q&A done in the chat have been uploaded to the EGU web-site (see for example).
